The IWM invites applications for the position of a

Post-Doctoral Researcher (m/f/d)

Conditions according to TV-L | Part-time 50% | Home office partly possible

to participate in the Leibniz Association-funded project “Leibniz-Lab Systemic Sustainability”, processes of science communication are to be implemented and researched. The position is a three years fixed term employment, starting at the earliest possible date

Your tasks:

  • Integration and communication of interdisciplinary knowledge and documentation of the communication success
  • Presentation of the research findings at national and international conferences
  • Publications and documentation of these findings in scientific journals
  • Collaboration on general institute-related activities

Your profile:

  • Strong interest in science communication, sustainability, climate change, and interdisciplinary work
  • Experience in planning, conducting, and analyzing empirical studies
  • Publications in international peer-reviewed journals
  • Above-average methodological expertise
  • Above-average degree and doctorate in psychology, cognitive science (or comparable)
  • Very good command of English; knowledge of German is an asset
