Dipl.-Psych. Marie-Christin Krebs

Member of the Knowledge Construction Lab

Since October 2018, Marie-Christin Krebs has been a research associate and Ph.D. student in the Knowledge Construction Lab. As a research associate, she investigates the influences of cognitive biases in collaborative environments such as the online encyclopedia Wikipedia. In her dissertation project she focuses on using eye tracking technology for learning with multiple representations. From April 2015 to September 2018, Marie-Christin Krebs worked as a research associate in the Multiple Representations Lab (project “Adaptive eye movement modeling of strategies”, Leibniz ScienceCampus Tübingen). From November 2013 until April 2014 Marie-Christin Krebs worked as research associate in the Social Processes Lab (project “A discrete emotions approach to obesity: measurement and implications for prevention”, Leibniz ScienceCampus Tübingen).

Marie-Christin Krebs graduated in psychology at the University of Tuebingen (diploma 2013) with a focus on knowledge communication, industrial and organizational psychology and clinical psychology. During her studies, she already worked as a student assistant at the IWM as well as an intern at the ZF Friedrichshafen AG and at the Projektbüro Human Capital Management. In her diploma thesis, she investigated the influence of perceived identifiability on knowledge acquisition and knowledge building with wikis.
