Sustainability and Institute Development Officer

Catharina Oerter joined the IWM in September 2023 as Sustainability and Institute Development Officer. In her position, she is responsible for the conception and implementation of a comprehensive sustainability strategy and drives the spatial and conceptual development of the IWM. In her role as Executive Board Officer, she also supports the Administrative Board in the organisation of the Foundation Board meetings and in the implementation of other projects.

Catharina Oerter completed her political science master's degree in European Governance at the University of Osnabrück in 2020 and subsequently gained experience in press and public relations work for various organisations in the non-profit sector.
