Expert on public and press relations, EU-funding, and management assistance
Tanja Vogel has been working at the Knowledge Media Research Center since January 2007. She is responsible for the institute's press and public relations, internal communication, EU-funding, and is as well personal assistance to the management. She studied political science, sociology and peace and conflict studies at Philipps-University Marburg (diploma 2005) and international relations at the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM), Monterrey, Mexico (2002-2003). After graduating from university in 2005, she worked at the German Institute of Global and Area Studies (GIGA), member of the Leibniz Association, in Hamburg, and later on in 2006 for the Evaluation Unit at the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit (GTZ) in Eschborn. While working full time, she graduated from Deutsche Presseakademie, Berlin, as Communications Manager (depak) in August 2011.
