Dr. Johann Jacoby
Member of the Social Processes Lab.
Johann Jacoby is a post-doc researcher at the Social Processes lab. He obtained the equivalent of a master's degree (diplom) in psychology from Georg-August-Universität Göttingen in 2003. He then worked as a researcher in the project "Social identities and aggressive interactions" (PD Dr. Sabine Otten) within the DFG Research Unit Discrimination and Tolerance in Intergroup Relations at Friedrich-Schiller-University of Jena. In 2006 he obtained a Ph.D. from the University of Jena. After a while as a post doc at the University of Bern, Switzerland, he came to KMRC in March, 2008.

boredom in virtual and physical environments, intergroup processes, reactions to norm violation, design and methodology in experimental tests of process hypotheses
